We also spend a lot of time sharing educational content, clinical insights, industry news and practical ideas that we think can be useful to the eye care community.
We know, though, that keeping up with all of this across different platforms isn’t always easy. A post on Instagram can easily get lost in your feed, while an email can disappear into an already crowded inbox. So we’ve decided to bring more of what we do to a place you’re already using every day: WhatsApp.
We’re excited to announce the launch of two new ASIRA WhatsApp Channels: ASIRA Clinical and ASIRA Optician App.
For optometrists and eye care professionals
The ASIRA Clinical WhatsApp Channel is designed for optometrists and other eye care professionals who want to stay connected with what’s happening in primary eye care and with ASIRA.
Alongside updates about ASIRA Clinical, new features and improvements, we’ll be sharing educational content, interesting clinical developments, research and industry news, and practical insights that can be useful in everyday practice. We want the channel to be a place where you can discover something useful, not simply another place where you see product announcements.
Whether it’s an interesting development in optometry, a new clinical approach, something from the latest research or a feature in ASIRA that you may not have discovered yet, we’ll be bringing it to you through the channel.

We’ve also created a dedicated ASIRA Optician App WhatsApp Channel for opticians, optical store owners and teams working in optical retail.

We’ll also share industry news, practical tips and ideas around areas such as customer experience, sales, inventory and running a more efficient optical store.
The aim is simple: to give optical professionals a useful source of information while keeping you up to date with everything happening at ASIRA.

More than just ASIRA updates
While both channels will naturally keep you informed about new ASIRA features, updates and announcements, we don’t want them to become a stream of promotional messages.
ASIRA has always been about more than software. We’re part of the eye care community, and we believe in sharing knowledge, encouraging better practice and keeping conversations around optometry and optical retail moving forward. These channels give us another way to do that.
